My new journey as a bootcamp student.

After several months of learning in the Frontend Developer Career Path, I've made the big jump over to the Bootcamp to get expert code reviews of my Solo Projects projects and meet like-minded peers.

The Reality!

Learning to code wasn't easy. Sometimes I felt like my head was going to burst. But, all my life I’ve been told what I cannot do because I was a girl. Girls can’t play the drums, they play the piano. I played both. Girls can’t take computer technology they should be teachers. Women can’t remodel homes. I remodeled mine. I refinished the wood floors, remodeled my kitchen and bathroom, built a deck and laid a patio all while getting my masters degree in English, raising three children as a single mother, and taking care of my mom who had a stroke. Where am I going with this you ask? Well, I don’t know if I am simply stubborn, fiercely independent, or just madly persistent, but I may have done more than the average Jane. I show up and I get it done. I’m like a dog with a bone. I don’t let go until it’s done the way it should be.
